Avalon Acres Farms is nestled in a peaceful hollow just off the Natchez Trace, on 122 acres in Hohenwald, Tennessee.

We left our corporate jobs to pursue our lifelong dream.  It was “Green Acres” from the get-go and we have many humorous stories to prove it.  Our farm was started in 2002 by Tim Bodnar, a physicist turned farmer (does that make him a f/pharmacist?) with a passion for problem solving, inventing and the Amish culture and his wife, Jennifer, a former corporate executive with a love of cooking and a zeal for furthering the cause of land and sound animal stewardship. Together we own and operate the farm, which has continued to grow and employs over 40 small family farms in middle Tennessee.  This is our story.

We truly love what we do and thank God for everything He's given us and we genuinely are grateful to our customers, family and friends.
